I welcome any and all suggestions, including my OWN cloud storage solution (open source or other) if an existing isn't available. Now lets install the Motion Software onto the Raspberry Pi. The ideal system would allow me to view ALL cloud files in previews/thumbs and then decide how to move forward with the file without having to house them all on my hard drive. because then I have to add another step in my workflow and empty my downloads and trash every time to keep the freed space available. I rather not have to download the file and take up space.

I need to find another cloud system that allows me to search all my cloud files with large previews/thumbnails and then either download it to my computer to edit/duplicate or a way that it will allow me to edit it as a cache and then sync it back up to the server upon save. To find an older PSD file in DropBox via the web interface is SO PAINFUL and frustrating - I some times want to cut myself :)

In my workflow, I usually need to edit or duplicate an older design file with a new/current offer. So I've decided to use Selective Sync to only keep the files I NEED on my Surface so I can work. As of right now, as I work solely off of my Surface Book, which only has 128GB HDD, I'm struggling with space. I've really begun to hate DropBox for a couple reasons. For years I've been using DropBox as my remote sharing/syncing across all my macs when I'm in and out of the office. I'm trying to use my Surface Book for this purpose while my custom PC is built. I run a freelance design business from home. There's one issue I've run in to and I could use some expert advice. I've successfully transitioned most of my life over without any hassle and I'm very happy about that. I'm transitioning my life and work from a Mac ecosystem to Windows.
